IN THIS LESSON

We are miraculous!

Our breasts are so cool. We are designed to breastfeed. Did you know that 1 in 4 women have flat or inverted nipples? This is usually where I see mothers and baby struggling in the newborn phase. You can get a nipple shield and that will help baby latch on. After breastfeeding for a while your nipples will become easier for baby to latch onto.

Keeping baby at one breast for longer time will assure baby gets the fatty hind milk. Also, breastfeeding your baby at night helps them get all those amazing night hormones in your milk to go back to sleep easier!
